I began a new career later in life after graduating from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 1997. I prefer to work in oils on wood panels en plein air. I enjoy escaping into the local landscape, exploring and searching for beauty among the ordinary world. I feel that life is chaotic enough without illustrating it through art. I regard this challenging career as a gift, a blessing.
